"A Day With Social Worker" organized by The Department of Social Work

On 10th April, 2023, the Department of Social Work, HATIM organised a program under 'A Day With Social Worker' with an aim to expose students in their journey towards becoming efficient and productive social workers in the coming future.
At this event, Ms.Lalmuanpuii Renthlei, a social activist and a newly elected member of the first Lunglei Municipal Council was invited to share her experiences and motivate young blooming social work trainees.
The topics covered were inspiring youth to be more politically conscious, planning for life and further studies and self identification and taking calculated risks in life. The question and answer session was followed after the speech.
The session was chaired by Ms.Vanlaltluangi, BSW 6th semester, felicitation of the guest waa conducted by Ms.M.Lalruatpui, BSW 6th semester and Mr.Zodinsanga, BSW 6th semester concluded the session with a vote of thanks.
